Both Karen and I are enhancing our skills again this year.  I am studying for a level 3 certificate (QCF) in Understanding Substance Misuse and am already gaining a deeper understanding and knowledge.   Karen is off to do the EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) course in March, and will soon be able to offer this valuable self help tool to our clients.

We have recently launched our new website and hope that you all like it.

In this newsletter section we will add a range of highlights, events and useful information for our customers, new and existing (sounds better than ‘old customers’) monthly – we hope!

June has been a month for training. Myself, Di and Jen were fortunate enough to gain places on two fantastic training days; Managing Challenging Emotions with ‘Purple Tree’ and Effective Listening Skills with ‘The VSCP’. The training provided us with some valuable tools that will enhance our work at Ashley House. I think I can speak on behalf of us all by saying it was a personal journey where we learnt a lot about ourselves!

Next month I will be attending my auricular accupuncture course which I am really looking forward to. I will let you know about how I get on next month!
